What is marble?

Marble is known for its classic and timeless beauty. This natural stone has soft, distinct veining and unique character, and it is a favorite for baths, vanities, fireplace surrounds and baking areas.

Bianco Rhino questions we get asked

Is Bianco Rhino a bright white?

It is a soft white with grey and taupe clouding. It looks warm and gentle rather than stark.

Is Bianco Rhino good for a bathroom?

Yes. Baths and vanities are where marble shines, since there is less exposure to acidic foods. Use a pH-neutral cleaner.

Will Bianco Rhino etch or stain?

Marble is softer than granite and reacts to acids, so lemon, vinegar, wine, tomato and some cleaners can leave dull etch marks if left sitting. Wipe spills promptly, use coasters and a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Many owners accept a soft patina over time as part of marble's character.

Does Bianco Rhino need to be sealed?

Yes. We seal at install and suggest checking once a year: if a few drops of water darken the stone within a few minutes, it is time to reseal. Sealing helps with stains but does not prevent etching.

Polished or honed: which finish is better for Bianco Rhino?

Polished shows off the color and veining but makes etch marks easier to see. Honed is matte, hides etching and scratches better and feels softer to the touch, though it can show oil marks until wiped. It depends on how you use the space.
