Slabsmith Digital Layout

At Universal Stone, we want your project to come out exactly the way you envision. Slabsmith, our state-of-the-art digital layout program, allows us to show our clients what their finished product will look like without having to visit our fabrication facility. This is an enormous benefit, especially during COVID.
Once we receive our client’s hand-selected slabs, we photograph them and place the templates on the slabs. Slabsmith captures the veining and movement in the slabs to determine the best template and seam placement possible. Digital design proofs of the countertop layout are sent to our clients for approval, so any changes can be made before we fabricate.
