About Coalport
Coalport is a deep charcoal porcelain with no veining at all — what you see instead is a fine, slate-like texture across the face, slightly cloudier in some areas than others. It is the closest thing in the porcelain range to a solid dark stone.
Without a pattern to place, it is the easiest dark surface to work with: no vein matching, no layout debate, and it is very forgiving over long runs and multiple pieces. It is a natural fit for a modern kitchen with light cabinetry, and because porcelain handles sun and frost it is one of the best choices we sell for an outdoor kitchen or a grill surround.

What is the best way to clean Coalport?
Warm water and a soft cloth, with a mild soap for anything greasy. Avoid abrasive powders and scouring pads on a polished finish. No sealing, no special stone cleaner needed.
