About Colonial Cream
Colonial Cream is a warm cream granite with fine beige grain, scattered rust and brown flecks and soft caramel streaks. It is calm and warm rather than busy.
It is a classic for traditional and farmhouse kitchens, pairing well with white, cream, cherry, maple and painted cabinetry. The warm tone also softens rooms with a lot of grey or white.

What is granite?
Granite is one of the most popular materials due to its versatility, durability, and ease of maintenance. It can also be more affordable than other options. Granite comes in a striking array of colors and is an ideal choice for kitchen and bathroom countertops, outdoor projects, business applications, and other heavily used surfaces.
Colonial Cream questions we get asked
Is Colonial Cream a light granite?
Yes. It reads as a warm cream to light beige, lighter than Colonial Gold, with small rust and brown flecks.
What cabinet colors go with Colonial Cream?
White and cream cabinets give a soft, airy look. Medium and dark wood, sage green and navy also pair well with its warm tone.
Does Colonial Cream need to be sealed?
Most granite benefits from a sealer, and we seal at install. Dark, dense granites absorb very little, so resealing is infrequent; the water-drop test once a year tells you if it is needed.
Is Colonial Cream a good choice for a busy family kitchen?
Yes. Granite stands up to heat, scratches and daily wear, and a patterned stone like Colonial Cream hides crumbs, water spots and fingerprints better than a solid surface.
