About Blue Flower
Blue Flower is a granite with large blue-grey crystal clusters set in a web of gold, tan and cream. The blue areas look like scattered blossoms, giving the stone its name and a lot of natural color.
It works well when you want something richer than a plain grey but not as bold as a black stone. Cream, white and soft blue-grey cabinets bring out the blues; warm wood pulls the gold forward.

What is granite?
Granite is one of the most popular materials due to its versatility, durability, and ease of maintenance. It can also be more affordable than other options. Granite comes in a striking array of colors and is an ideal choice for kitchen and bathroom countertops, outdoor projects, business applications, and other heavily used surfaces.
Blue Flower questions we get asked
Is Blue Flower more blue or more gold?
Both, and it varies by slab. Some slabs have more blue clusters, others more gold veining. We recommend walking the slabs to choose the balance you like.
What backsplash goes with Blue Flower granite?
A simple cream or white tile, or a soft blue-grey, keeps the stone the star. Avoid busy patterned tile next to it.
Does Blue Flower need to be sealed?
Most granite benefits from a sealer, and we seal at install. Dark, dense granites absorb very little, so resealing is infrequent; the water-drop test once a year tells you if it is needed.
Is Blue Flower a good choice for a busy family kitchen?
Yes. Granite stands up to heat, scratches and daily wear, and a patterned stone like Blue Flower hides crumbs, water spots and fingerprints better than a solid surface.
