Dover White is a white marble with taupe and charcoal veins that form a web or mosaic-like pattern across the slab. It has real drama while staying light.
It is a strong pick for vanities, feature walls, fireplace surrounds and islands. Keep cabinets simple and let the stone do the work.

Yes. We seal at install and suggest checking once a year: if a few drops of water darken the stone within a few minutes, it is time to reseal. Sealing helps with stains but does not prevent etching.
You can, as long as you are comfortable with some patina. Marble is a classic baking surface and looks beautiful on an island, but it will show etching from acids over time. If you want the look with less upkeep, ask us to show you a quartzite or a marble-look quartz alongside it.
