Mont Blanc is a white and light grey marble with sharp, linear charcoal veins that sweep across the slab in one direction. It is crisp and graphic.
Directional stone needs careful layout. We plan how the veins run on islands, vanities and walls so the pattern stays continuous.

Marble is known for its classic and timeless beauty. This natural stone has soft, distinct veining and unique character, and it is a favorite for baths, vanities, fireplace surrounds and baking areas.
Names vary in the trade. We list this slab as marble, so treat it with marble care. If durability is a priority, ask us to test a sample for etching.
Lengthwise on an island makes it feel longer; vertical on a wall makes a room feel taller. We plan it with you.
Marble is softer than granite and reacts to acids, so lemon, vinegar, wine, tomato and some cleaners can leave dull etch marks if left sitting. Wipe spills promptly, use coasters and a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Many owners accept a soft patina over time as part of marble's character.
Yes. We seal at install and suggest checking once a year: if a few drops of water darken the stone within a few minutes, it is time to reseal. Sealing helps with stains but does not prevent etching.
You can, as long as you are comfortable with some patina. Marble is a classic baking surface and looks beautiful on an island, but it will show etching from acids over time. If you want the look with less upkeep, ask us to show you a quartzite or a marble-look quartz alongside it.
