About Viscount White
Viscount White is a white and light grey granite with charcoal bands that swirl and wave across the slab. It has the movement people love in marble, with the durability of granite.
The swirls make every slab unique, so we plan the layout with you to place the best movement on the island or main run. It pairs with white, grey, black and navy cabinets.

What is granite?
Granite is one of the most popular materials due to its versatility, durability, and ease of maintenance. It can also be more affordable than other options. Granite comes in a striking array of colors and is an ideal choice for kitchen and bathroom countertops, outdoor projects, business applications, and other heavily used surfaces.
Viscount White questions we get asked
Is Viscount White a good alternative to marble?
Yes. It gives you light, flowing movement like marble, but it is much harder and does not etch from lemon or wine.
How much does the pattern vary?
A lot. Some slabs are calmer, others have strong charcoal swirls. Walk the slabs and choose the one you like.
Does Viscount White need to be sealed?
Most granite benefits from a sealer, and we seal at install. Dark, dense granites absorb very little, so resealing is infrequent; the water-drop test once a year tells you if it is needed.
Can I put a hot pan on Viscount White?
Granite is one of the most heat-tolerant countertop materials, so an occasional hot pan will not hurt it. We still suggest a trivet as a habit to protect the sealer and the seams.
