About Aria
Aria is a mid-grey quartz with soft, cloudy movement rather than defined veining, so it behaves like a solid color at a distance and gains depth as you get close. Universal Stone carries it in both polished and suede finishes, which change the look considerably.
It is the sensible pick when the cabinetry, tile or a view is meant to lead and the counter should recede. Grey is also the most forgiving color we sell for daily mess, which is why it shows up so often in family kitchens, rental turns and commercial jobs.

What is quartz?
Quartz slabs are engineered from crushed natural quartz bound with resin and pigment. The result is a non-porous surface with consistent color and pattern that never needs sealing, making it a practical choice for kitchens and baths.
Aria questions we get asked
What is the difference between the polished and suede Aria?
Polished reflects light and reads slightly darker and glossier; suede is a low-sheen matte that feels softer to the touch and hides fingerprints better, though it can show grease until you wipe it. Both are the same slab underneath.
Is Aria warm grey or cool grey?
It sits close to neutral, with a faint cool cast. It works with white, navy and greige cabinetry; next to a strongly warm cream it can read slightly blue.
Will grey quartz date the kitchen?
A cloudy mid-grey like this has stayed in demand far longer than the cold flat greys of a decade ago, largely because it acts as a neutral. If resale is the concern, grey is a much safer bet than a bold pattern.
Does Aria need to be sealed?
No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so there is nothing to seal. Warm water, a soft cloth and a mild soap if needed is the whole routine; skip abrasive pads, bleach and any sealer or topical treatment.
Can I put a hot pan on Aria?
No. The resin binder in every engineered quartz can scorch or discolor, so use a trivet. If hot pans routinely land on your counter, granite or porcelain is the safer surface.
