About Sanibel
Sanibel is a busier quartz than most of our range: a grey and white field with swirled movement and scattered dark mineral flecks, closer in character to a granite than to a marble-look Calacatta.
That busyness is genuinely useful. A patterned surface hides crumbs, water spots and daily wear better than any plain color, which is why this kind of slab keeps its place in family kitchens, rentals and commercial jobs.

What is quartz?
Quartz slabs are engineered from crushed natural quartz bound with resin and pigment. The result is a non-porous surface with consistent color and pattern that never needs sealing, making it a practical choice for kitchens and baths.
Sanibel questions we get asked
Why choose a granite-look quartz over actual granite?
You get the busy, forgiving look of granite in a non-porous surface that never needs sealing. The trade is heat: granite takes a hot pan, quartz does not.
Does a busy pattern make seams easier to hide?
Generally yes. Movement and flecking break up the eye, so a well-placed seam in a patterned slab is harder to spot than one in a plain white.
What slab sizes do you have?
Sizes vary by shipment for this color, so nothing is published here. Call (704) 394-1221 and we will tell you what is on the rack, including any remnants.
Does Sanibel need to be sealed?
No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so there is nothing to seal. Warm water, a soft cloth and a mild soap if needed is the whole routine; skip abrasive pads, bleach and any sealer or topical treatment.
Can I put a hot pan on Sanibel?
No. The resin binder in every engineered quartz can scorch or discolor, so use a trivet. If hot pans routinely land on your counter, granite or porcelain is the safer surface.
