Calacatta Uniqueness runs wide, dramatic grey veins across a bright white field, with soft feathered edges that keep them from looking printed. It is the boldest cool-toned quartz in our range.
With veining this wide, the slab decides the room. We recommend choosing it in person and planning the island layout off a photo of the actual slab, so the sweep lands where you want it instead of where the cut happens to fall.

What is quartz?
Quartz slabs are engineered from crushed natural quartz bound with resin and pigment. The result is a non-porous surface with consistent color and pattern that never needs sealing, making it a practical choice for kitchens and baths.
Calacatta Uniqueness questions we get asked
Is Uniqueness too much for a whole kitchen?
In most kitchens, yes, and that is not a criticism. Use it on the island or a feature wall and pair it with a quiet white on the perimeter; the contrast is what makes it work.
Do the grey veins photograph darker than they look?
Often, yes. Under warm kitchen lighting the veins read softer in person than in a photo, which is another reason to see the slab before deciding.

Does Calacatta Uniqueness need to be sealed?
No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so there is nothing to seal. Warm water, a soft cloth and a mild soap if needed is the whole routine; skip abrasive pads, bleach and any sealer or topical treatment.
Does the pattern repeat on Calacatta Uniqueness?
It can, because the pattern is manufactured rather than quarried. We lay slabs out so repeats do not land side by side in a visible run, and we match movement across seams and mitered edges wherever the slab allows.
