Dolce Vita Dolomite is a soft white and light grey stone with layered, horizontal veins in grey and warm gold. It has the soft, elegant look of a marble with a little more toughness.
The gentle palette suits bright kitchens, primary baths and vanities, and the gold threads pair naturally with brass hardware and warm white cabinetry.

Dolomite is a natural stone with a marble-like look. It is harder than marble but softer than true quartzite, so it resists scratches better than marble while still needing sealing and prompt clean-up of acidic spills.
They are different stones. Dolce Vita Dolomite is cooler and whiter with gold and grey veins; Dolce Vita quartzite is warmer, with cream and tan patches. Ask us to pull both if you are comparing.
It is a dolomite, which we display with our quartzites because it is chosen for the same marble-like look. Dolomite is harder than marble but softer than true quartzite, so it sits in between for durability and care.
It can. Dolomite reacts to acids more slowly than marble, but lemon, vinegar, wine and some cleaners can still leave a dull mark if left sitting. Wipe spills promptly and use a pH-neutral stone cleaner. A honed finish hides etching better than polished.
Yes. We seal it at install and suggest checking once a year: if a few drops of water darken the stone within a few minutes, reseal.
