Misty Summit is a soft white quartz crossed by long grey veins that run diagonally across the slab, splitting and forking along the way with a fine, crackled texture. Between the veins you get faint, misty layers of movement, so it carries the look of a natural quartzite while staying a consistent, low-maintenance engineered surface.
The veining has real direction, which makes it a showpiece on an island or a waterfall edge, where the lines can be bookended or carried down the side. It pairs easily with white, grey or navy cabinetry and with black, nickel or brass hardware. At 139in by 79in it is a jumbo slab, so long islands can often be cut from a single piece with no seam.

Quartz slabs are engineered from crushed natural quartz bound with resin and pigment. The result is a non-porous surface with consistent color and pattern that never needs sealing, making it a practical choice for kitchens and baths.
Misty Summit slabs are 139in by 79in at 3cm thick. That jumbo size means many islands can be cut from one slab with no seam, and the 3cm thickness needs no build-up at the edge. Call (704) 394-1221 to confirm current stock.
No. It is engineered quartz with a quartzite-inspired look. You get the branching grey veining people love in natural stone, but on a non-porous surface that never needs sealing.
Yes. Because the veins run on a strong diagonal, we lay out the job on the actual slab before cutting and line up the movement across seams and mitered or waterfall edges wherever the slab allows.
No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so there is nothing to seal. Warm water, a soft cloth and a mild soap if needed is the whole routine; skip abrasive pads, bleach and any sealer or topical treatment.
No. The resin binder in every engineered quartz can scorch or discolor, so use a trivet. If hot pans routinely land on your counter, granite or porcelain is the safer surface.
