About Calacatta DaVinci
Calacatta DaVinci keeps a clean, soft-white field and lays only a few delicate gold and grey veins across it. From a step back it reads as a warm white counter; up close there is just enough movement to keep it from looking like a solid slab.
That restraint is the appeal. It brightens a kitchen the way a plain white quartz does, but it does not look manufactured, and it will not fight a patterned tile, a bold cabinet color or a busy floor.

What is quartz?
Quartz slabs are engineered from crushed natural quartz bound with resin and pigment. The result is a non-porous surface with consistent color and pattern that never needs sealing, making it a practical choice for kitchens and baths.
Calacatta DaVinci questions we get asked
Is DaVinci a good perimeter counter with a bolder island?
It is one of our most-used pairings. A quiet warm white on the perimeter lets a bold Calacatta island be the feature, and the two read as one family because both sit on a warm base.
Will fine veining hide seams well?
Better than a bold pattern. With sparse veining the seam has less pattern to match, so a well-cut seam in a good location is genuinely hard to spot.
Does it look white or cream?
Warm white rather than stark white. Next to a bright white cabinet it reads slightly soft; next to cream it reads clean. Bring a door sample and we will hold it against the slab.
Does Calacatta DaVinci need to be sealed?
No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so there is nothing to seal. Warm water, a soft cloth and a mild soap if needed is the whole routine; skip abrasive pads, bleach and any sealer or topical treatment.
Can I put a hot pan on Calacatta DaVinci?
No. The resin binder in every engineered quartz can scorch or discolor, so use a trivet. If hot pans routinely land on your counter, granite or porcelain is the safer surface.
