About Calacatta Wisteria
Calacatta Wisteria runs fine grey veins on a diagonal across a white field, which gives it more of a Carrara character than a Calacatta one: linear, even, and consistent from end to end.
Directional veining is worth knowing about before layout, because the diagonal reads differently depending on how the piece is cut and which way the run faces. We plan that with you rather than letting the saw decide.

What is quartz?
Quartz slabs are engineered from crushed natural quartz bound with resin and pigment. The result is a non-porous surface with consistent color and pattern that never needs sealing, making it a practical choice for kitchens and baths.
Calacatta Wisteria questions we get asked
Does the diagonal veining affect how the slab is cut?
Yes. Running the veins the same direction on every piece is what makes an install look deliberate. It can also mean slightly more waste, which we account for when we measure.
Is Wisteria closer to Carrara or Calacatta marble?
Visually closer to Carrara: fine, even grey veining rather than bold gold sweeps. It suits clients who want the classic marble look without the maintenance of real marble.
Will it look cold in a north-facing kitchen?
It leans neutral rather than icy, but in low natural light any grey-veined white reads cooler. Warm cabinetry, wood floors or brass hardware balance it easily.
Does Calacatta Wisteria need to be sealed?
No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so there is nothing to seal. Warm water, a soft cloth and a mild soap if needed is the whole routine; skip abrasive pads, bleach and any sealer or topical treatment.
Can I put a hot pan on Calacatta Wisteria?
No. The resin binder in every engineered quartz can scorch or discolor, so use a trivet. If hot pans routinely land on your counter, granite or porcelain is the safer surface.
