About Crystal White
Crystal White is a bright white quartz with a fine crystalline speckle that catches light across the surface. It is the practical white: clean and light in the room, but textured enough not to show every crumb.
It comes in both 2cm and 3cm, which makes it a straightforward choice when a kitchen and a couple of vanities need to match. There is no pattern direction to plan, so fabrication is simple and offcuts are usable.

What is quartz?
Quartz slabs are engineered from crushed natural quartz bound with resin and pigment. The result is a non-porous surface with consistent color and pattern that never needs sealing, making it a practical choice for kitchens and baths.
Crystal White questions we get asked
Is Crystal White a true white?
Yes, a bright one rather than a cream. Against warm cabinetry it reads crisp; against a stark white cabinet the speckle is what keeps the two from looking flat next to each other.
Does the speckle sparkle in sunlight?
Slightly, in a polished finish, which is where the name comes from. It is a fine glint rather than the heavy glitter of some engineered stones.
Is it a good choice for a large island?
It is, particularly if you want the island to feel bright and unfussy. If you want the island to be the focal point, pair this on the perimeter with a veined Calacatta on the island.
Does Crystal White need to be sealed?
No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so there is nothing to seal. Warm water, a soft cloth and a mild soap if needed is the whole routine; skip abrasive pads, bleach and any sealer or topical treatment.
Can I put a hot pan on Crystal White?
No. The resin binder in every engineered quartz can scorch or discolor, so use a trivet. If hot pans routinely land on your counter, granite or porcelain is the safer surface.
