Sahara is an engineered quartz in warm sand and beige with horizontal tan streaks, inspired by the look of travertine. It is warm, earthy and relaxed.
It suits Mediterranean, farmhouse and warm modern kitchens, and pairs naturally with cream cabinetry, natural wood and bronze or brass hardware. You get the travertine look without the pits, sealing and etching.

Quartz slabs are engineered from crushed natural quartz bound with resin and pigment. The result is a non-porous surface with consistent color and pattern that never needs sealing, making it a practical choice for kitchens and baths.
Travertine is porous and soft, so it needs filling, sealing and gentle care. Sahara gives you a similar warm look in a non-porous quartz that never needs sealing.
Yes. The warm beige against white looks fresh and inviting. It is also lovely with sage green or natural wood.
No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so there is nothing to seal. Warm water, a soft cloth and a mild soap if needed is the whole routine; skip abrasive pads, bleach and any sealer or topical treatment.
No. The resin binder in every engineered quartz can scorch or discolor, so use a trivet. If hot pans routinely land on your counter, granite or porcelain is the safer surface.
