La Strada is an engineered quartz with a white background and dense, horizontal black and grey lines running across the slab. The effect is graphic and architectural, like a cut-stone strata.
The strong lines make it a statement surface for islands, bars, waterfall ends and feature walls in modern spaces. Pair it with flat-panel cabinetry and simple hardware so the pattern stays the focus.

Quartz slabs are engineered from crushed natural quartz bound with resin and pigment. The result is a non-porous surface with consistent color and pattern that never needs sealing, making it a practical choice for kitchens and baths.
Horizontal along an island or run is the most common, and it makes the counter feel longer. Vertical on a backsplash or waterfall end is a striking contrast. We plan the direction with you before we cut.
Not always. La Strada's slab is smaller than most at 115in X 71in, so a very long island may need a seam. We will tell you up front when we measure and plan the seam where the lines match best.
No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so there is nothing to seal. Warm water, a soft cloth and a mild soap if needed is the whole routine; skip abrasive pads, bleach and any sealer or topical treatment.
It can, because the pattern is manufactured rather than quarried. We lay slabs out so repeats do not land side by side in a visible run, and we match movement across seams and mitered edges wherever the slab allows.
